These kits have been priced as an affordable way to start. Once you are on your way, explore the beautiful and more expensive spindles on the market, but keep this one in your suitcase for travel. I've used mine on car trips and you can pack it in your luggage for plane trips without worrying about breaking a $100 spindle.
